Julius Caesar

Post  Alianny on Tue Apr 07, 2015 5:24 pm

Gaius Julius Caesar was a Roman general, statesman, Consul, and notable author of Latin prose. He played a critical role in the events that led to the demise of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire. He was fearless warrior who did anything for his country. Unlike the senate or other rulers, Caesar helped the poor get their land back and this bother the wealthy a lot. He gained his power by not following the law. It is said that he was assassinated by his ex partner in power, Pompey.

Alianny what you wrote about Julius Caesar was really interesting because you talked about everything that he did during his life. Something that you forgot to mention was that he one of man in the First Triumvirate. You could said that he went against the state of Rome by crossing the River which he was told not or he will go into war. Still what you've written is interesting like he was the ex partner of Pompey. Very Happy

Great job, Alianny! You said some amazing things about Julius Ceaser, sounds like a great man, no? Anyways, you’re right, he did help the poor, unlike many other previous rulers and he was a very strong and powerful warrior. Simply, a man to remember.
