Rome Settling In (creation)

Post  David Strauss on Thu Mar 26, 2015 1:16 pm

Groups of Indo-European people moved into Italy between 1500-1000BC. We don't know about them but they where Latin's who lived in the land of Latium. They were farmers. Then Later in 800BC the Greeks and Etruscans settled there. The Etruscans from the north and Greeks from the south. These cultures mixed up and there was a cultural diffusion. This cultural diffusion created what is known as Rome.

Wow David, that is a very interesting topic. It is hard to believe how Rome started (as a small region) and then occupied almost all of Europe, parts of Africa like Carthage, and even parts of Asia. Great post! Very Happy Smile
