Taoism or Daoism

Post  Roberta2000 on Tue Mar 17, 2015 6:21 pm

Taoism or Daoism is a type of Chinese philosophy. Taoism is about the Tao. This is usually translated as the Way. Taoism originated in China 2000 years ago. The principle of the Yin Yang sees the world as filled with complementary forces - action and non-action, light and dark, hot and cold, and so on. They believe that everything you do will come back to you. The main goal in Taoism or Daoism is to achieve harmony or union with nature.

Great Job, Roberta!! Taoism or Daoism is a very important and popular religion used in China. They believe in having harmony with nature and because of that they believe in having no government and that the world should actually be overruled by nature because it is the most important thing on Earth. Roberta what you said about Taoism and Daoism is really good. You have mention how the main goal for this religion is achieving harmony with nature. Another thing is that you mention the Yin Yang which it was made for that purpose for showing how there’s a good side and a bad side. What you have said that they also believe that if you done something bad it will always come back to you is really true. Still what you done is good. Very Happy

Great job, Roberta! What you said is very true! I was just wondering, did you ever notice that our whole world revolves around the Yin Yang, somehow. There are many different ways in which we find this, but thinking logically, there is always some good in the bad and some bad in the good; every single day in our lives, even. I mean, it all revolves around this, no?
