Buddhism

Post  Francisco Jimenez on Tue Mar 03, 2015 9:49 pm

Buddhism is a non theistic meaning that they believe in no God. This religion is all about Dharma or the "right way of living", that includes a variety of traditions, beliefs and practices largely based on teachings attributed to Siddhartha Gautama, commonly known as the Buddha ("the awakened one"). Many people prefer this religion, cause it teaches you to have faith and trust in yourself as a person to succeed in life.

Francisco what you talked about Buddhism is really good you mention mostly all the most important facts. Something you could have added was about how Buddhism could be practiced in two different ways. They are Theravada and Mahayana. Theravada is more an orthodox way to practice Buddhism and is mostly found in Southeast of Asia. Mahayana is not at all strict, but you can practice your own way and it’s more in Northeast Asia. Still Francisco what have written is well-done. Very Happy

In Buddhism there are two types which are Theravada and Mahayana. Theravada is more orthodox and traditional. It can be found in Southern Asia like Thailand and Sri Lanka. Mahayana is less strict and can be found in Northern Asia like China, Korea, Japan, Mongolia, etc.

Buddhism was found by a man named Siddhartha Gautama. later on people started calling him the Buddha, or the "enlightened one". He was the man that discovered the cure for suffering and meditated for 48 days straight to be able to do that.

Great job, Francisco! Siddhartha Gautama is known as the Buda, also known as the "enlightened one" was the one that invented this practice and religion in the first place. He showed people the process of meditating, what it means, and what it does to your body and mind. As well as that, he taught people the meaning of life.
