Hinduism developed slowly over time beginning with the invasion of Aryan Invasion in 1500BC. Hinduism does not have a single founder, but it is based on the beliefs that were brought to India by Aryans.
Hinduism is a polytheistic religion; they believe in more than 100 different gods. The three most powerful gods are Brahma- the creator god, Vishnu- the preserver of the universe, and Shiva- the destroyer god. They make up the whole cycle of life people believe in. Hindu people believe in reincarnation, so number of their lives is infinite unless you've reached the Moksha- ultimate freedom, where you don't die anymore, but in order to reach it your karma has to be extremely good.
