Origins of Buddhism

In the 6th century B.C., a new religion called Buddhism appeared in northern India and soon became the rival of Hinduism The founder of Buddhism was Siddhartha Gautama known as the Buddha, or "Enlightened One"

Rosi what you have said is good about how Buddhism was originated. Something that could have done was adding some more information that we learned in class from the PowerPoint. We may have also mention how Siddhartha wanted to make a new religion so the social class would be all the same and be treated well. Next time write some more information of where it was originated. Very Happy

Great work! Siddhartha Gautama discovered The 4 Noble Truths which he later thought people. He was meditating for 48 days until he finally discovered the mystery of life.
