new technologies

A seed drill is a man power or animal machine that positions the seeds in the soil and then covers them. Before the the seed drill, people had to plant seeds by hand one by one. this led to poor distribution of seeds, and the failure of many growth of seeds. Jethro Tull is known for inventing the seed drill, this was a great invention and one of the first in the 1780's the industrial revolution.
Townshed or "Turnip" was famous for his cultivation of turnips and clover on his land. He introduced the four-course rotation of crops which helped keep the land fertile for almost all year. This consisted of wheat, turnips, oats or barley, and clover.
Bakewell was the first and stock breeder of farm animals. By breeding only animals with certain qualities, he breeder many animals. he kept records of his animals and maintained his stock carefully he was known for the breeding and keeping of sheep.

The seed drill influenced many invetions to come. If not for the few very basic inventions in the beginning of the revolution, the other inventions may have never been created, who knows? Great post, Gloria.
