Geography of Greece

Post  isaacbueno.4 on Sat Feb 14, 2015 11:37 am

The geography in Greece was really important, because it had an effect on the civilization. Comparing to other civilization like Mesopotamia and Egypt it had not that much space. So Greece was mountainous peninsula which it consisted of many islands surrounding it. The mountains isolated or closed Greeks from one another by which each Greek city-state had to develop its civilization independently from another. This also led fights with one another for land. Very Happy

Great job Isaac! Did you know that Greece, because of its geography, didn't have so many natural reasorces? They were good producers of grapes, though Razz . It is true that each greek city-state was seperated, I find this very interesting. Good topic! Very Happy
