Aristotle

Post  Alianny on Thu Feb 05, 2015 6:29 pm

Aristotle is a famous philosopher who was taught by Plato in the Academy which Plato had created after being out of Greece for about ten years. Aristotle was a great philosopher and scientist. He believed that the earth was composed of four things. Some of those four thing were fire and wind, so you probably might know or guess what the other two were. He was a great philosopher and he did not believe in the democratic government. He believed more in the oligarchy. I guess he always questioned the government that he lived in, in Greece.

Great job, Alianny! What you said is very true and correct. Not only that, but Aristoteles was also much known for what he said and people even quoted him. Here are two examples of his quotes that talk about society and maybe even government: a)Law is mind without reason b)Man perfected by society is the best of all animals; he is the most terrible of all when he lives without law, and without justice. He was a very bright man and we still use his techniques today.
