The Odyssey is one of the biggest and major ancient Greek epic poems attributed to Homer. It is, in part, a sequel to the Iliad, the other work written by Homer. the Odyssey was composed primarily in the Ionic dialect of Ancient Greek, a language which was only spoken on the Aegean islands. The poem is mainly talking about on the Greek hero Odysseus and explains his journey home after the fall of Troy. It takes Odysseus ten years to reach Ithaca after he experiences the ten-year devastating Trojan War.

Volney what you have written about the Odyssey is good. You have mention who it was composed and how it is form. Another thing is that it’s a sequence from the Iliad after the fall of Troy. Still what you have written is well-done which was about the Odyssey. Very Happy
