The Yellow River Empty The Yellow River

Did you know that the Yellow river or Huang He is the second-largest river in China right after Yangtze River, and also the sixth largest river in the world that is 3,398 miles. Another thing you may not know that is also called, “the cradle of Chinese civilization”, because it was where the first northern Chinese civilization born. An interesting fact is that at the middle of China where the yellow River passes it’s the Loess Plateau region which it carries a lot of sediment down the river. The Yellow river situation of carrying sediments allows farmers to have a rich farm area, because some of those sediments enriched the area where they cultivate. Very Happy

Good Job Isaac. Did you know that the yellow river right now is very polluted, but it used to be clean? It is also one of the reasons why some of the earliest cities originated there. The river is also very dangerous because in the year 1332-33 there was a huge flood that killed about 7 million people. That is a lot of people, so yea. Good Topic. Rolling Eyes

Great topic Isaac! Did you know that it is 2,900 miles from Mongolia to the Pacific Ocean? The valleys along this river and the Yangtze River were the greatest food-producing areas of the ancient world. Unfortunately, the Huang He River or Yellow River is very polluted now. You explained everything very well, good job! Very Happy
