Voyages made contact between Europe and Americas, the interaction with native Americans helped the change of cultures.
Contact between the two nations led to exchange of plants, animals, and diseases. the exchange of good included Plants, animals, potatoes, corn, sweet potatoes, turkeys coffee, oranges, rice, wheat, sheep, cattle. The beasts of burden which were horses, helped the people in the Americas with a new way of labor.

Effects- the exchange of food that other nations were not open to, made a impact on later societies, over time the crops of the americas became the main good in European diets. the foods provided a good nutrition and helped people live longer
Activities like Texas cattle ranching, Brazilian coffee growing would not be know to us today if it was not for the Columbian exchange.

I think that the Columbian exchange was an amazing thing that occurred and also really important because it changed many cultures and the was people lived. The world population increased greatly because now they had healthier nutrition and more food to produce for everyone. Did you know that it was called the Columbian exchange because it was all thanks to Christopher Columbus that it started since he was the one that discovered the Americas, he then brought different kinds of things between Europe and America, and then it became global. So Columbian exchange comes from Columbus, his name. One of the major crops that were grown that fed an incredible amount of the world population was the potato. Keep up the good work glooo afro

The Columbian Exchange was not invented by Christofer Columbus. It was just named after him. Thanks to the columbian exchange, cultures fused. Because of this, many ideas and materials spread from continent to another. For example, Disease spread from Europe to the Americas.
