The Minoans

The Minoans were the earliest civilization associated with Greece and was located on the island Crete. They were around from 2000 B.C.E. to 1450 B.C.E. Greece is surrounded by the Aegean Sea on the East, the Ionian Sea by the West, and the Mediterranean Sea on the South. This great civilization was known as the heart of the ancient times. As well as that, it was recently discovered by Arthur Evans between 1900 and 1905. He was an archeologist who discovered the remains of a palace at Knossos.
This palace was thought to be the palace of King Minos. That is because the Minoan civilization is named after king Minos. In legends, it is said that he dominated a large part of the Aegean Sea with his powerful navy. This palace had over 800 rooms, which included apartments, temples, workshops, a school, etc. It was huge! Because of all the things that were included in it, the palace is/was known as a city-tower. What did they export?
