Myth of Theseus and the Minotaur

As you remember this myth it was from the Minoans who God Poseidon gave this beautiful cow to be sacrifice for him. But the king kept it for he could have many babies’ cows from that. For what he did God Poseidon put a love spell on the king’s wife who made her fall in love with the cow and they had a son who was the Minotaur. The king of Knossos did a labyrinth so it is trapped there. One day there was an Olympics in Athens which the king of Knossos sent his son there to participate, but he was murdered. From there on the king of Knossos made seven girls and boys from Athens being sent to Knossos and were put in the labyrinth and were killing there. One day the king Aegeus from Athens sent his son Theseus to kill the Minotaur who he did, but he forgot to put up the white sail to show he killed it but, instead he was still dizzy from last night and forgot it. Which made his father jump of the cliff and now then they say that way it called those entire island like the father’s name.
Very Happy

Great topic Isaac! That myth is very interesting! Did you know that that myth is from the Island of Crete in Greece? I feel bad for the dad because he killed himself for nothing, Theseus should of remembered to put up the white sails! Good myth and great post! Smile
