U.S. and Latin America Between WWI and the Great Depression, U.S. investment soared. The U.S. continue to play “international policeman”, intervening whenever it saw its interests threatened. The U.S. invaded or sent to troops to the following countries in the 1920:  Mexico, Nicaragua, Haiti, Cuba… In the 1930s, Roosevelt instated the “Good Neighbor Policy”, pledging to lessen U.S. interference in Latin American affairs. all these years there hasn't been a single soldier in Latin america.

Nice topic. Correct, the United States of America loved to get their noses into other people’s business even when the stuff going on had nothing to do with the United States. A lot of people hated the United States for constantly getting involved in their problems with other nations. The United States do continue to constantly intervene in other people’s stuff, regardless of whether it involves them or not. I am not sure why the United States is incapable of not getting involved, because it makes the other nations angry with them and they always tell the United States to stop, but it never does, I wonder if nations will start to threaten it someday.

As we have discussed in class before, the issue about countries being able to intervene in foreign policies is highly controversial. The United States considers itself to be the "National Police". However, it has caused a lot of conflicts in other countries. During the Cold War, countries of Latin America were being manipulated by the US. The US wanted to make sure that countries in America were avoiding taking the route of communism so they imposed dictators in Latin American countries to make sure that communism was avoidded. Great job, Sammy!
