Alexander the Great was a king of a kingdom in Greece called Macedon. This means he is a Macedonian. He was born in July of 356 BC in Pella, Greece and died in June of 323 BC. He place of death was Babylon Iraq. He was educated by Aristotle until the age of 16 He became king at the age of 20. He captured all of Greece and parts of the Middle East. He also took over in India and in Egypt. This means he is a conqueror. But when you have lots of land that is ruled by a single person, there is a lot of people who can try and take over. Because of ruling all this land, this made Alexander the Great: King of Macedonia, Pharaoh of Egypt, King of Persia, and King of Asia. Alexander was great at ruling whatever he took over.

We just started to learn about him, and I really look forward into knowing more and learning. He was an important character in history and was one of the most powerful people that ever existed at this time. Here are some facts about him:
He was the son of Phillip II.
He has never lost one single battle.
Alexander named a city in India after his horse.
