Silla

One of the three major kingdoms of Korea was Silla which was founded in 57 BCE by King Park Hyeokgeose. This kingdom lasted until 935 CE and was located on the Korean Peninsula. In one point in time Silla tried to unite all of the northern parts of the peninsulla under its name but was unable to do so because the dynasty that Silla asked help from, the Tang dynasty in China, tried to take over all of the penisulla causing Silla to forget about its plan and try and drive them out.
Later on Silla and Balhae united and became the most powerful kingdom in the Korean Peninsula.

I don't think it has an actual meaning to the name but it was located in the Southeast of the Korean peninsula.
