Antares - a huge star. Antares belongs to the class of red supergiants. Its diameter by 700 times more bigger than diameter of the Sun, it by 15 times more massive and in 10 thousand times is brighter than the Sun. It is the brightest star of constellation the Scorpion and one of the brightest stars in all the sky. Antares is surrounded with a gas fog which is formed by itself . Radiation of the blue partner Antares forces this fog to be shone. Antares is at distance of 500 light years from Earth.

If it is so big how come hardly anyone has ever heard of this? This would be an interesting topic to do further research upon. I wonder if that means that the heat we are receiving from the sun is also from this, or if it's too far away to even affect us. Interesting topic Nastia!
