Mouse

Post  Nastiaknd on Sun Dec 09, 2012 9:26 pm

The computer mouse birthday - 44 years ago, December 9th, 1968 American scientist Douglas Engelbart presented to the public the very first model of computer mouse. It represented a wooden cube on wheels with the line and little resemblance to the crane, which we all enjoy today. Yet even then, in 1968, with its help it was possible to control the cursor on the computer screen. And the name "mouse", it was because of the cord connecting to a computer, which reminded to a lot of people a mouse's tail.

searched -read a book ages ago, and this information was included .Since it was on december 9th , decided to write about it .

interesting! Mice? Mouses, not really sure how you call them when you are not talking about the animal in plural form. Anyways, they have come a long way because now there are cordless ones, and even ones connected to computers. Computers would be so different without them and also the touch screen would probably not have been invented if it weren't for computers and the mice (or mouses) directing you. (:
