The Founders of Google

Google, we all know it, for it is something we use daily and will probably continue to use it in the future. Google is a world-wide internet search engine, but my question is, who founded Google?

On September 4, 1998, Google was just a small private company, but on August 19, 2004, its initial public offering had started. Google was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, who both attended Stanford University at the time. The company's main mission was "to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful".

Lawrence, or Larry, Page is an American computer scientist and internet entrepreneur. As of 2012, his personal wealth is estimated to be $18.7 billion. Larry Page was born in Lansing, Michigan, and both his father and mother were computer science professors at Michigan State University. No wonder Larry Page was so intelligent when it came to computers. Razz Larry Page was also raised without religion.

Sergey Brin is a Russian-American computer scientist and Internet entrepreneur. As of 2012, his personal wealth is estimated to be $18.7 billion, just like Page. Sergey immigrated from the Soviet Union to the United States at the age of six. Sergey Brin followed his father's and grandfather's footsteps by studying mathematics and computer science. Later on, Sergey Brin went to Stanford University to acquire a Ph.D in computer science.

There Sergey Brin and Larry Page met and became friends. They crammed their room with inexpensive computers and applied Sergey's data mining system to build a search engine. They're program became very popular between the Stanford walls, so they suspended their Ph.D's to build Google.
