Albert Einstein's Legacy
On April 18th, 1955, Albert Eintstein died of a ruptured aneurysm in a New Jersey hospital. Einstein had led a great life of discoveries which allowd us to study what we study today. One of the most known, or common, theories that Einstein developed was the one of relativity. It was this theory that led to the philosophical approach to science called logical positivism.
Einstein's work influenced the art of European artists after World War I, for example, "Cubism" which has a lot to do with geometry. Pablo Picasso and Juan Gris helped develop a point of view in which a single object is seen from several sides at once. A huge part of Einstein's legacy to the world was that of the scientist's perception among the average person. Albert believed that scientists had a key position in society as a person with moral responsability.
In addition to his scientific publications, he published popular tracts on themes such as religion, human rights, economics, government, nuclear war, and personal development. Einstein's legacy also includes the fact that he was deeply concerned about the fate of humanity.
