The Persian Empire

Post  Samuel Hebert on Sat Sep 24, 2011 10:12 pm

The Persians Empire was really strong they had large pieces of land. If they decided to conquer a empire they had a very high possibility they where going to reach there goal. They had a really organized empire. The King even though he was the king he had to follow a rule to be tolerant and to accept the people they conquered. Darius ruled for a long time. The example that Darius gave to future kings a model of him self how he ruled. he divided the Persian empire into province and he would charge tax based on it's resource and wealth. Ever governor of that province was known as satrap. the king checked on the straps.
Darius made a new system that improved the trade system it was common set of weights and measures. he encouraged the use of coins. by using these methods he started using more trading.
the Persians believes changed after Zoroaster was ruler. he taught them differently, there was only one god called ahura Mazda. this god would judge you for your actions.

Yes the Persians did have plenty of prosperous land. That`s why they took so much land. That`s who the battle of three hundred Spartans fought. As we can see in history books, the movie 300 and wikipedia, the Persians fought together with the same king, and wicker shields, but the warriors origins and and cultures differed. Remember the people in black cloaks and scary masks from the movie, the immortals, they were different. Anyway thats not a reliable source. So all summed up, yes sam.
