Napoleon
Napoleon Bonaparte was a military and political leader near the end of the French Revolution. Napoleon I, was the Emperor of the French from 1804 to 1815. Napoleon was born in Corsica and his parents were noble Italians. Bonaparte rose under the French First Republic and led successful campaigns. In 1799, he staged a coup d'état and installed himself as First Consul; five years later the French Senate named him emperor. In the first decade of the 18 hundredths, the French Empire under Napoleon engaged in a series of war (the Napoleonic Wars) involving every major European country. In the early stages of the wars there were only victories for France. This made Napoleon really strong in the beginning which made many countries wanting to join his forces making him even stronger. He kept this position of power for many years before his decline started to happen. The French invasion of Russia in 1812 marked a turning point in Napoleon's hopes. His huge army was badly damaged in the campaign and never fully recovered afterwards. A few years later there was a Battle at Waterloo in June 1815, unfortunately Napoleon was defeated. He then spent the next six years of his life in confinement by the British on the island of Saint Helena. Napoleon never came back. Some people said he died of a stomach cancer, but scientists have proven that he was poisoned with arsenic.
So if you were Napoleon would you of done things differently?
What I think:
I think that Napoleon did a huge mistake attacking Russia because that led to many battles. This is because his army was not at full strength so that made him vulnerable. Then after many battles Napoleon was captured in the battle at Waterloo and he was killed by arsenic. Over all I think that he could of not attack Russia and stay in rule for a longer time.

Re: Napoleon
No if i were Napolean i would have done the same thing. I believe he has done has much as he could. Napoleon has done things because he thought it was the right thing and it would have been different being in his footsteps.
