I can't believe antarctica had a tropical climate back in the time of pangea. It had plants and life and had little ice, if any. After pangea broke up and formed the continents we know today, Antarctica slowly moved to the south where some 40 million years ago, it became the place w know now. It's hard to imagine that. But scientists who take ice samples from very, very deep in the ground look at some of the material and atoms in the ice. This is great evidence. Also, scientists have retraced Antarctica's path. I wonder where this island and all the other continents will be in 40 million more years. We might be the next Antarctica!
