The Colosseum
The ancient Rome Colosseum was a great architectual structure and still is to this day. The Colosseum was very large and could hold up to 50,000 people. The romans had very cruel games and it has been estimated that 500,000 people were killed and over 1,000,000 animals have been slaughtered in the Colosseum . Gladiator fights were faught until everyone was dead except for one person. gladiators during the Roman Empire were used as entertainment. The people who fought hard and died with honor were admired by the Romans. Gladiator fighting was a big business back then, the best fighters would be bought and sold and traded, and many bets were made on who would win which made a lot of people very rich. Many of the gladiators were criminals and had the choice to fight.
If you were a roman criminal and the only way you would be free was to fight in the Colosseum would you fight for your freedom or rot in your jail cell?

Re: The Colosseum
If i were a Roman criminal i would probably fight in the Colosseum because it would be fun and lots of adrenaline. Also roting in a jail sell sounds boring.
